As part of its expansion strategy, IFG now offers an in-country partner teaching centre franchise model that allows schools, colleges and other educational institutions to deliver IFG Foundation and Pre-Masters Programmes to students in their own country. Students are then able to progress to IFG partner universities in the UK and Australia for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Our network now includes partner teaching centres in Türkiye, Jordan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Republic of Iraq and South Korea.

If you are interested in joining our network and running IFG programmes in your country we would be extremely interested in speaking to you.

For an initial discussion please contact our Head of Partnerships, Stefan Green on s.green@intfoundationgroup.co.uk or complete the application form below.

Why become an IFG Partner Teaching Centre

Becoming an IFG Partner Teaching Centre will give your students a direct route to universities in the UK, Australia and elsewhere. For most partners, international Higher Education is a new area of business. However, we also collaborate with schools who already offer A Levels & the IB Diploma, who view Foundation Programmes as an alternative route for existing students as well as a way to attract a new cohort.

IFG partners benefit from

  • Access to course material via IFG’s online VLE (Pharos)
  • Comprehensive set-up and marketing support
  • IFG staff participation in student recruitment events
  • A wide range of university partners and progression routes
  • One to one advice to students on their university choice and application

The advantages of the IFG in-country teaching franchise model

Students study I year in their own country + 3 years in the UK (The 1+3 Model) rather than 4 years in the UK. The advantages of our model for students and parents are:

  • Save money by living at home for your foundation year
  • perceived as safer by parents as their child does not go to the UK until they are 1 year older, more confident & fully prepared
  • studying at a small professional institute in your own country can be more welcoming than a large campus in the UK, for younger students at a pre-university level

What our partners say about us

Oakleaf, Georgia

Working with IFG enables our Grade 12 students to study the Georgian curriculum, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, and the IFG Foundation programme in parallel. Students therefore graduate Oakleaf with an IFG certificate as well as a Georgian School-Graduation Certificate (Atestat). Our students enjoy IFG lessons and their approach to learning, which paves the way for direct entry to universities in the UK as well as in Georgia.

This “two-in-one” opportunity was first implemented in 2021 and we are delighted to witness our students’ continuing success as they relish meeting the demands of this twin-track challenge. We therefore hope that our partnership continues for many years to come.

Almasar Alarabi, Republic of Iraq

We are an International Education Service and Consultancy, based in Iraq. After initial discussion with IFG in early 2022 we were able to welcome our first students in October 2022 and are currently running the IFG Medical, Business Management and Engineering Foundation Programmes at Al-Rafidain University, Baghdad.

Our students and teachers are very happy with the programmes and we hope to be able to start offering the IFG pre-masters in Business Management from 2023 as well as expanding our Foundation offer to other areas of Iraq through several partners in the south and west of Iraq and in the Kurdistan region. We would like to thank IFG for their support that has helped us to have a smooth and quick launch in Iraq.
