In 2014, Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) launched the first private medical school in the region with a 6-year medical programme taught in English. The medical school has since expanded to offer dentistry and pharmacy degree and is registered in the World Directory of Medical School
Students complete the clinical portion of their training at the University Clinical Centre in Sarajevo (UKCS), the city’s main hospital, with a focus on practical experience from the beginning of their medical school career
SSST offers international students Bosnian language classes to help them settle into their new life as well as preparatory classes for students planning to take the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
